Drumroll please!

Tasha will now be known as Ember Grace Senti. Phew, that feels good. I can't wait to meet her. I can't wait to hold her, comfort her, love her.
We're trying very hard to get the paperwork and homestudy done quickly! I am planning a couple of fundraisers soon. I am nervous about them though - there is a large amount of money to come up with! I would love to know from any of you what fundraisers have worked (or NOT worked) for you.

  1. We haven't done any fundraisers... but I love the name you picked! It's beautiful, and fits her very well. :-) Best of luck with your fundraisers.

  3. We have had a lot of money come in through selling 147 Million Orphan t-shirts and necklaces. You can check out thier site for more details. We also had two garage sales with TONS of donations. It was a lot of work but also a quick way to raise money. You can also do parties...Scentsy, Pampered Chef, or others as fund raiser. They aren't huge money makers but they require little time and effort on your part. Do you have crafty frineds? If so, you can sell any donated items. We have had different people offer to do this and it has been a huge blessing! Hope that helps!

  4. Love her name! I'm a Scentsy consultant. You can have a party through me and I'll donate 25% of the profits to your FSP. Just email me at joeandbianca@yahoo.com for more details.

  5. That is a beautiful name for a beautiful girl! I'm so happy her family found her. I have been praying for you guys. Speaking of prayer that is the best fundraiser I know of. We prayed and sent out letter to everyone, friends, family, church, work and asked them to pray with us and support if they could and BAM!! God supplied it all!
Congratulations! I can't wait to see her in your arms!

  8. Hi Sarah, it would be fun to meet up over there! I just have no idea about traveling. We should be able to send our stuff to USCIS on Monday. Then we wait...
